Las Cruces Tex Mex comes from the same group behind Central City BBQ, so you can expect smoked meats to be a staple on the menu. Las Cruces, Spanish for “the crosses,” is a reference to the nearby railroad crossing and also to the idea of our “crossover from barbecue”.

We feature flank steak and hanger steak fajitas as well as a ribeye carne asada to pay homage to the original cuts of beef from Texas. Smoked pork and smoked chicken flavored with traditional Mexican flavors also find a place on most items on our menu. We offer a typical Mexican menu with nachos, quesadillas, queso, taco salads, tacos, burritos and enchiladas.

Went to a party and it was in there party room. They had a taco bar with fajita chicken and shredded beef , rice and beans and all the fixings. All the food was delicious. Also served margaritas and water. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Great place for a party.

We had been waiting to try this new restaurant since we heard plans of it being opened by the folks at Central City BBQ. I must say the food was very good and portions were generous (we had the fajitas and burrito). I enjoyed the pork which had a great smoky flavor.

We loved this place. Its new, we understood there would be a wait, the food WAS SOOOOOO WORTH the wait. 5 stars. My friends and I will definitely be back - only downside is the crazy way people park on both sides of the street for the gym making it basically a one way road in and out the parking lot.
